As sports enthusiasts, it’s a privilege to sponsor local sports clubs such as Royal Earlswood Football Club U11s.

Sport plays a huge part in the areas we operate, providing opportunities for community engagement, skills development and a healthier living standard.

James Waller, Royal Earlswood FC manager, said: “Blackthorn Homes’ kind donation has been spent on team wear and training facility fees.

“This is a non-competitive, developmental stage for all players, and we’ve seen dramatic improvements over the course of the season.

“Over the next two years, we aim to prepare the team to be ready for 11-a-side football at a competitive level.

“The club is hoping to become chartered standard in the coming months which means all coaches will have an FA coaching qualification.”
